The NIA court today acquitted all five of the accused in the Mecca Masjid Blast case of 2007 which killed nine and injured dozens. As the accused which included Swami Aseemanand walked away free of all the charges levelled against them, many questions now arise, the majority of them have to be answered by the NIA. What was the organization doing for the past 11 years in the name of investigation? Is one of India's premier investigating agencies so incompetent that they cannot even provide evidence? What about those nine poor souls who were killed and the injured men and women, who are living with the marks of that dreaded day? Will they ever get justice?
