Karnataka-based off-spinner Krishnappa Gowtham, with a base price of Rs 20 lakh, was sold to Rajasthan Royals for whopping Rs 6.20 crore on the second day of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction at Ritz Carlton, Bengaluru, on Sunday. The Day 2 kickstarted with the bidding for uncapped spinners and the franchises went along with their business till Gowtham's name came up. Delhi Daredevils won the bidding for Shahbaz Nadeem for a massive 3.20 crore, using their RTM card.
